Phil Hutty's fight for a new North Devon District Hospital

“Our community desperately needs a new North Devon District Hospital.
“The Conservative Government broke their promise to build it. Now the Labour Government has delayed it until at least 2035.
“This isn’t good enough. Devon’s Liberal Democrats are determined to
hold the Government to account - and get the new hospital we were promised.

Demand that the government deliver the promised new North Devon District Hospital

In January 2025 the new Labour Government announced funding for North Devon District Hospital's rebuild under the New Hospital Programme would be delayed until 2035. The decision follows five years in which similar funding promised by the last Conservative Government was shown to not exist.
